Nikki Marmery is a UK-based writer of mixed British/Greek-Cypriot heritage. She is fascinated by the pull of the past on the present and passionate about restoring lost voices to history through fiction. Her first novel, On Wilder Seas, was shortlisted for the Historical Novel Society’s New Novel Award and selected for the Wilbur & Niso Smith Foundation’s Adventure Society book club. Her second novel, Lilith, is a retelling of the Hebrew myth of Adam’s first wife, who was expelled from the Garden of Eden for disobedience.

In a former life Nikki worked as a financial journalist, editing magazines about foreign exchange and credit trading.
